ENVISION HOSTS WTS PHILA.’S LEARN FROM A LEADER

June 10, 2016

Envision Consultants, Ltd. (Envision) is pleased to host a special session of WTS Philadelphia’s Learn from the Leader Series.  The event will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the firm’s headquarter office located in Mullica Hill, NJ, starting at 8:30 AM.

Victoria Malaszecki, MBA, Envision’s President & CEO, and a member of the chapter’s Advisory Board, will present, “Building a Business.”  She will share her experiences related to running a successful small business for more than 20 years. Topics to be addressed include the risks and rewards of owning a company, handling game-changers, holding one’s own inside corporate America, and what’s it REALLY like to be a working principal.

With more than 27 years of relevant management experience, Ms. Malaszecki acts as a liaison to enhance diversity in the transportation, design, and construction management industries.  She oversees the daily operations of Envision, and has expanded the business via various service lines in program and construction management – while also leading the Envision’s Public Outreach and Technology Departments.  Vicki’s portfolio includes work with agencies, such as: FRA, FTA, the City of Philadelphia, SEPTA, Amtrak, MTA, PANYNJ, NJ Transit, DRPA, NJTA, NJDOT, DRJTBC, and PennDOT.

Ms. Malaszecki is the President of the Construction Management Association of America’s (CMAA) Mid-Atlantic Chapter, and serves at the national level of the organization as a member of its Diversity Committee (CODE). She is also a member of WTS’ National Executive Leadership Committee, and previously chaired WTS Philadelphia’s Programs Committee for nearly a decade. Ms. Malaszecki is also on the Board of Directors for the American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF). She was recently named Vice Chair of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the March of Dimes’ Annual Transportation Building and Construction Awards Luncheon.  She resides in Harrison Township, NJ, with her husband, Stephen, and their two sons, Trevor and John Michael.

Learn from a Leader is a new pilot program launched this summer by WTS Philadelphia.  Top representatives from the chapter’s Platinum and Trailblazer sponsors were invited to host a session and share their personal experiences and insights on leadership, career development, mentoring, professional involvement, and other such topics.  The series takes place from June 2 until Labor Day, and the weekly sessions are scheduled in Center City and the surrounding suburbs. Members may attend for free, and non-members pay a nominal fee. For more information and to register, log on to: https://lfalphilly.eventsmart.com/
