PennDOT I-95 Design and Program Management

PennDOT I-95 Design and Program Management

Project Overview

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is rebuilding five miles of congested I-95, as part of a $10 billion program for the expansion and realignment of Interstate I-95 from Delaware to New Jersey as it passes through Philadelphia.

Envision conducted a needs assessment to define the parameters for project control for the entire project, and provided critical project scheduling and construction sequencing for various sections of the project.  The firm is maintaining the master schedule and all coordination between six separate design and construction schedules corresponding to the construction sections and let (bid) schedules. Using PennDOT’s Open Plan and ASTA scheduling softwares, Envision conducted a project schedule development workshop prior to the actual start of each new project to facilitate the generation of the initial project schedule. Scope also includes monthly updates, forecasting, and corrective actions.is rebuilding five miles of congested I-95, as part of a $10 billion program for the expansion and realignment of Interstate I-95 from Delaware to New Jersey as it passes through Philadelphia.
