Project Overview

The Federal Transit Administration administers grants and loans to help state and local transit agencies build, expand or reconstruct transit projects throughout the United States. The FTA also is responsible for ensuring that capital transit projects meet the terms of those grant or loans and meet all applicable federal requirements, and engages Project Management Oversight consultants to help monitor grantee performance.

As a Prime, Envision is providing PMO services to the FTA under a five-year, $15 million contract. The firm monitors grantee performance and project progress, and reports its findings to the FTA.Assignments underway to-date include:

  • Houston METRO-Uptown Development Authority-Harris County Improvement District / Dedicated Bus Lanes, Region 6 /Houston, TX;
  • Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority / Ruggles Station / Boston, MA (pictured)
  • Rhode Island Public Transit Authority / Enhanced Bus Circulator / Providence, RI
