Camden County College
Project Overview
This project consisted of the construction of the new Madison Hall Connector Building and renovations to the existing adjoining building. The project featured an architecturally dramatic curved exterior, a three-story atrium with skylights, and pedestrian bridges. The Madison Hall Connector Building contains a 244-seat lecture theater, a 40-seat amphitheatre and high-tech classrooms, and offices.
The project included the new connector building along with a brand new HVAC/electrical system including a substation on the roof of the new building which services the newly renovated Madison Hall. The project also included new classrooms, science labs, cafeteria renovations and new administrative offices. The Madison Hall Connector Building serves as the indoor crossroads of the Blackwood Campus, connecting the recently refurbished College Community Center to Madison Hall. The connector building also serves as the headquarters for the College’s new Center for Civic Leadership and Responsibility. The project construction timeframe was two years.
