University of Maryland Student Services Center

University of Maryland Student Services Center

Project Overview

The University of Maryland expanded its Princess Anne Campus with the construction of a new twenty-five million dollar Student Services Center. The student center building contains administrative offices, a concert hall, bowling alleys, a two story rotunda, cafeteria, maintenance service area and an atrium.

As the campus continues to grow and gain recognition, the University is committed to continue serving the needs of the community, surrounding industries, and students from various locations.  The new Student Services Center is the focal point of the University's expansion plan.  The expansion also included additional student dormitories and a new self contained on-site energy plant for which Envision was engaged to develop construction schedules.

Envision Consultants served as a subconsultant to Wohlsen Dashiell, Inc., the general contractor for the project. Envision was responsible for CPM Scheduling services, including the development of the baseline schedule and monthly updates to the schedule during construction.
