Peter Gentle is Vice President of FTA Program Management at Envision Consultants, Ltd. with nearly five decades of experience in program and project management.

Mr. Gentle specializes in the management of transportation capital projects, including rail, bridge and highway projects. He also spent 16 years as Director of Way and Power, and Assistant General Manager of Engineering and Maintenance at the Delaware River Port Authority’s PATCO High Speed Rail Line. Mr. Gentle’s project experience includes the construction and maintenance of highways, bridges, track, signals, switches, traction power distribution and substations, parking facilities, maintenance facilities and offices, rights of way and parking structures.

Mr. Gentle is a registered Professional Engineer and former Professional Surveyor. He earned both an M.S. and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. He also is a member of the American Public Transportation Association’s Track, Noise and Vibration Forum, the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, and the Transportation Research Board’s Track, Noise and Vibration Committee.
