Amtrak, Program Management Plan – Station Renovations

Amtrak, Program Management Plan – Station Renovations

Project Overview

This Amtrak initiative was to upgrade Train Stations to be in compliance with ADA requirements. The Program Management Plan is for the renovation of 529 Amtrak stations throughout the continental United States to meet the requirements set forth in American Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.

Envision supported Amtrak with the development and maintenance of the Master CPM Schedule that was both cost and resource loaded within a Primavera P6 client server environment. Envision also worked with SYSTRA to identify the durations of Design-Bid Build, Design-Build, and Construction schedules. The Master CPM Schedule included the construction sequence of each station based on priorities, region and volume to maximize efficiency in packaging the construction contracts.
