June 26, 2019 – Envision Consultants, Ltd. (Envision) is pleased to announce that Nicole Johnson, MBA, CEP, LEED AP, has been promoted to Vice President of Cost Estimating Services.

Ms. Johnson has more than 20 years of experience in project management, cost analysis, cost estimating, procurement and value engineering. Ms. Johnson previously was Director of Cost Estimating, after joining Envision in 2015, and has been integral in expanding the firm’s cost estimating business and client base.

“Nicole is a valued member of the Envision team and an integral part of our strategic vision,” said Envision President and CEO Victoria Malaszecki. “This promotion recognizes her hard work, her expertise and her reputation among her colleagues here at Envision and within our industry as a trusted and respected leader.”

As Vice President, Ms. Johnson said she plans to focus on continuing to expand Envision’s cost estimating client base, building the department’s capabilities and range of services, creating innovation in systems and processes, and developing and mentoring staff.

“Mentoring, and giving people the opportunity to really enhance their capabilities, ultimately benefits our own organization, our work product and our clients,” she said.

Ms. Johnson will head a team of six who support the Philadelphia office and various project field locations. She also will work from and oversee Envision’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office.

Ms. Johnson’s experience includes work on rail, transit, airport, highway and bridge, educational, commercial, residential, healthcare and correctional projects throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and across the US. Her clients include Amtrak, FTA, SEPTA, NJ Transit, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the City of Philadelphia and its Divisions of Aviation and Public Property, and the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, among others.

Ms. Johnson has an MBA in Production and Operations Management from Drexel University, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University. Ms. Johnson is an American Association of Cost Engineers International (AACEI) Certified Estimating Professional (CEP). She is also an accredited LEED AP Building Design and Construction professional, and holds training certifications from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). In addition, Ms. Johnson is Secretary of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America, and is Vice President of the American Association of Cost Engineers’ (AACEI) Delaware Valley Chapter. She also is active in the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS).

Ms. Johnson, who was born, raised and educated in Philadelphia, works in the city and enjoys traveling and spending time with family, especially her two rescue dogs, Blake Shelton and Caleb.
