Project Overview

The $14.3 million anchorage preservation consisting of installation of new elevator/manlift with its new electrical system, new lighting system, new steel stair tower with its security fence, new standpipe system, rehabilitation of drainage pipe system, modification of catwalk railings, concrete crack and spall repairs on anchorage walls and application of waterproofing coating on sidewalks on both New Jersey and Pennsylvania Anchorage of the Walt Whitman Bridge. Work also includes but is not limited to removal of existing caged ladders, removal of existing elevators and its associated electrical systems, removal of existing lighting systems, removal of existing standpipe system, partial removal of existing drainage pipe and its fittings, cutting of existing concrete for spall repairs.

Envision was responsible for construction inspection services including review of project schedules, contractor’s invoice payments, change orders, requests for information, and project closure activities for the DRPA’s Walt Whitman Bridge Anchorage Preservation.
