Project Overview

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is one of the most important institutions in the region. Serving thousands of patients from across the world every year, this organization fulfills an incredibly important role in the healthcare realm. The 1.3M square foot, 24-story New Patient Tower (NPT) at 3501 Civic Center Blvd. in Philadelphia, includes 480 total patient beds (40 per floor across 12 floors) along with other services, testing areas, and connections to the main hospital. This structure will reach 434 feet at its peak, anchoring CHOP and reshaping the West Philadelphia skyline.

Envision is responsible for providing program scheduling services for CHOP’s $2.1B New Patient Tower. Services include Master Program CPM Schedule development using the contractor’s schedule as a baseline. Provide overlay and integration of key program team stakeholder data into Master Program CPM schedule. Envision provides monthly schedule analysis review and peer report development. Analyzes schedule for delay impacts, logistics, critical path and report out. Provides schedule trending analysis, schedule forecasts, and assists in developing schedule related responses from the CPM schedule analysis.

Envision attends various weekly work stream meetings at the client offices, and works with the program management team members to define schedule needs for various workstreams and make inputs as required. Attends site meetings and visits site when necessary to confirm and validate scope and progress of work as it relates to schedule. In addition, Envision identifies schedule conflicts that could result in disputes or claims and performs reviews on schedules from various parties including, but not limited to, client stakeholders, designers, contractors, client vendors, etc. at various stages of planning, design, construction, activation, and close-out. Reviews could include Peer/Quality, Time Impact Analysis, claim analysis and reports, optimization and acceleration, what-if scenarios, etc. Independent schedules prepared as requested.
