Project Overview

The $6.2 million 4th Street Garage Repairs project includes the installation of Cathodic Protection System for the columns and bents adjacent to the PATCO tracks, concrete spall repairs, pressure injection of concrete cracks, full reconstruction, or repairs to the concrete pedestals below the steel columns adjacent to the PATCO tracks. Shielding for the PATCO tracks for work adjacent to PATCO tracks is required and all utilities encountered during construction must be temporarily supported by the contractor. The Work inside the garage includes concrete spall repairs and pressure injection of concrete cracks, including the repair or replacement of existing steel reinforcement, as necessary.

Envision was responsible for construction inspection services and office engineer support for the DRPA’s Benjamin Franklin Bridge 4th Street Garage Repairs.
