Riverfront North Partnership, Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park

Project Overview

The Riverfront North Partnership (RNP) is a charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to building an 11-mile linear network of parks and trails along the Delaware River from Allegheny Avenue in Port Richmond to the Poquessing Creek in Torresdale. RNP is committed to activating these green spaces with a variety community programming and rejuvenating them with year-long volunteer and stewardship activities.

Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park is part of the Circuit Trails, comprised of 300 miles of completed trails with the goal of a 750-mile network of bicycle and pedestrian trails in the Greater Philadelphia Region and the East Coast Greenway. Conceptually designed in 2015 with construction documents completed in 2022, Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia will be an amazing addition to the Philadelphia parks system. The park design is a result of the community engagement launched in 2015 by Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and the RNP. Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park will be the newest addition to the planned 11-mile-long section of parks and trails along the Delaware River in Northeast Philadelphia. The park will be a total of 10 acres and will be completed in 2 separate phases. The completed park will concentrate on ecological restoration and showcase trails and an upland meadow with views of both the Tacony-Palmyra and Betsy Ross bridges.

Envision is providing hands-on project management and administration services for the construction of this multi-phased riverfront park including owner’s representative, CPM scheduling, cost estimating, and construction management.
