Project Overview

Verizon, a global communications utility headquartered in Basking Ridge, NJ, is the largest wireless carrier in the US, with 142.8 million subscribers at the end of 2021.

As a Verizon Strategic Sourcing Partner, Envision is currently providing turnkey project management and construction management services to oversee both the preconstruction process, as well as the construction phase administration, for the following assignments:

•  Springfield Central Office Facility: The HVAC Upgrades Project involved a major renovation of the mission critical HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units, pump and associated building automation systems and controls. All work was performed while maintaining the critical operations of a major Verizon switch facility.
• Wayne Central Office Facility: The Generator Replacement Project involved the placement of an on-site temporary generator to allow the decommissioning, removal and replacement of the facility’s primary emergency generator. All work will be completed while maintaining the 24/7 operations of this mission critical facility.
•  Kirklyn Central Office Facility: The HVAC and Electrical Upgrades Project involved a major renovation of the mission critical electrical and HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units, pump and associated building automation systems and controls. All work was performed while maintaining the critical operations of a major Verizon switch facility.
