Project Overview

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s Contract No. T100.587, Turnpike Deck Reconstruction, Milepost 90.0 to 91.37 consists of work on the New Jersey Turnpike. The project involves structure Nos. 91.36A, 91.37AN, 90.23U, 90.21A and 90.84AN. For this work structure 91.36A and 91.37AN involves deck reconstruction and the parapets upgrade to current standards along with miscellaneous construction improvements. Structure 91.37AN will also include superstructure replacement. Long term closures with barriers are anticipated for these structures.

In, addition, Structures 90.23U, 90.21A and 90.84AN will have miscellaneous repairs involving but not limited to substructure spall repairs, parapet replacement, bearing replacement, repair of structural steel, painting structural steel, laminated elastomeric bearings, joint reconstruction, paving, membrane waterproofing, drainage upgrades, and headblock repairs.

Envision provided CPM Scheduling services and was responsible for conducting a detailed review of the contractors’ computer-generated CPM baseline schedule. Envision reviewed the baseline submission for overall conformance with specification and provides a written report with advance indication of schedule or cost variance from the approved contractor plans. Envision recommended remedial action to GPI and the Authority accordingly. Envision also reviewed all CPM schedule updates and provides a similar detailed report as described above.
