Project Overview

Walter Rand Transportation Center is a significant transportation hub located in the heart of Camden, New Jersey. As a result, it is very critical for those who not only wish to travel within the state but also for those who need to travel outside of New Jersey to neighboring states. The center includes both River Line and PATCO Speedline for rail as well as NJT, SJTA, and Greyhound buses.

Additionally, the concept and design will explore accommodations for future transit projects in Camden and the potential for new housing, hospitality, office, and retail opportunities. This will ultimately be the cornerstone for the continued economic redevelopment in Camden.

Envision is providing CPM Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Document Control, and Configuration Management services for the Walter Rand Transportation Center Replacement project. This project consists of a new center that will better accommodate and support the bus system, provide improved intermodal connectivity with the River Line and PATCO Speedline, and provide more parking and administrative offices.
