SEPTA, Lawndale Station Improvements

Project Overview

The Lawndale Station improvement project included the construction of high-level platforms, a pedestrian underpass, and ADA accessibility ramps. Other improvements included the construction of passenger shelters, energy-efficient lighting, and safety improvements. This project improved safety at the station and made it compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and has been made possible through a grant from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA).

Envision was responsible for design estimating and CPM scheduling services based on interim project documentation issues in order to determine overall project duration and any necessary interim milestones. Envision’s scheduling services included a detailed thorough understanding of the pre-construction and construction efforts to provide an accurate forecast for interim and overall project completion dates.
