With headquarters in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, and an office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating on a diverse portfolio of projects over the last three decades. Meet Our New Team Members:
Michael Breen, PMP, Senior Project Manager – Rail/Transit, has over 17 years of experience in railway engineering and construction. Mr. Breen brings a wealth of expertise to our team, particularly in Class 1 railroad freight and passenger infrastructure construction. Throughout his career, Mr. Breen has applied his deep knowledge and skills to rail projects across the U.S., excelling in project management, workforce leadership, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Envision, Mr. Breen served as the Deputy Chief Engineer of Infrastructure Maintenance and Construction Services (IMCS) Production at Amtrak, where he was responsible for overseeing project planning, construction management, and engineering strategic initiatives. Mr. Breen holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and remains an active member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA). His extensive experience and leadership in the transportation sector will be invaluable as Envision continues to take on increasingly complex projects.
Heather Sheppard, Project Accountant, has over 11 years of accounting experience and is proficient with project management, data analysis, and problem-solving. With her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, Ms. Sheppard has been responsible for proactively managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions. Her expertise lies in reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining precise financial records, all while ensuring that our financial processes align with best practices. Ms. Sheppard also excels in client and vendor relationship management, fostering positive and productive partnerships that help drive business success. Her ability to balance the financial management aspects of the business with a customer-first approach makes her an invaluable asset to the Envision team.
Timothy Wardle, Senior Cost Estimator, has 20 years of comprehensive construction experience consisting of extensive expertise in cost estimating, project management, construction management, and budget oversight. Before transitioning to the AEC industry, Timothy spent 10 years in finance, giving him a unique perspective that combines financial acumen with construction cost expertise. His dual experience allows him to offer specialized consulting services related to cost estimating and bid support, ensuring projects are well-managed. Mr. Wardle is recognized for his exceptional communication skills and leadership in motivating project controls teams to consistently exceed client expectations. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Villanova University, and his strategic approach to cost estimating and project management will be a valuable asset as Envision continues to take on more dynamic projects.
Kelvin Lafond, MS, CSP, ASHM, Safety Manager, has over 25 years of experience in safety and health management across construction, military, federal, and corporate sectors. Mr. Lafond provides expertise in program development, planning, implementation, oversight, and quality assurance. In his new role, Mr. Lafond will provide strategic leadership in safety management, offering subject matter expertise in inspections, risk analysis, investigations, root cause analysis, data management, and training. His deep knowledge of OSHA compliance and his ability to identify gaps and develop effective strategies will be instrumental in strengthening our safety programs and ensuring we meet all necessary compliance standards. He holds a B.S. in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College, and an M.S. in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University. In addition, Mr. Lafond is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Associate Safety and Health Manager (ASHM).
